Winner of the JCB Prize for Literature 2022, 'The Paradise Of Food' was originally published in Urdu in 2014 with the title 'Nemat Khana', later translated by Baran Farooqi, the novel is the story of an orphaned Muslim boy, lovingly called Guddu Miyaan, who spent his growing years in a joint family.
